7. Got scolded by form teacher because I was playing other people's game (P3)

Back from Malaysia! o.O its outdated.
Notice that this post covers Jan - July beginning. ^_^ I posted this on 14/7, 4.21 PM. The date on top is december coz i start writing it in december LOL.
Oh, time flies so fast. Im back in singapore again. This could only mean the
starting of the new school year and piles of work to be done...
Malaysia is fun. I've always enjoyed going there and staying with my cousins. I do not know why, but they always made the holidays seem 100 times more interesting. Staying in my 3rd Aunt's house had proved to be an invaluable experience to me. It brushed off my urge to use the Internet, and instead it urges to read more books and go out more often with my cousins, friends and family. I really enjoyed the short 3 weeks stay.
My cousins made up the bulk of the interesting life in Malaysia. Why? I will show an example. There is one time where we were preparing to sleep in our bedroom. One of my older cousins asked me privately, "Do you know what is "the moon"?" "Isnt it the round thing in the night sky?" I replied. "Wrong. I shall show you." he answered. Then, he did a most funny act in front of me.
When one of my other older cousins went in the room (he was sleeping with us), this cousin bro of mine went forward and pull down the other's shorts and briefs. "Behold! The Moon!" he exclaimed while pointing to the naked butt. The other cousin instantly pulled up his pants in embarrassment and straight away get into a fight with the other cousin. I laughed.
We also did a lof of things during my stay. We played majong, went for physical training, went to eat roti canai (roti prata in Singapore), and played some new games on their computer. Majong is fun. Although I was very unlucky and lost 2 days in a row, I still won during my last day of the stay. Physical training was fun. I could pass my NAPFA now ( I can finally do one pull up).
I was introduced to some new games in Malaysia, namely Heroes III and Metal Slug.
Metal Slug is a fun 2D shooting game where you can team up with someone to fight the bad guys, ranging from soldiers to martians to demons. It is actually quite hard, but exciting anyway. As for Heroes III, it is a 2D RPG game where you have to build up your base and defeat your enemy. It is more fun than I described, so go and try it.
The new class that i am in, 3D, is a quite good class. Firstly, im with some of the
2H guys here, and even jj is here o.O. Also, almost all the Qifa members are back together again (me, oj, ce, rf).
It all started off when we got confused over with who is the temporary chairperson of the class. I was sitting beside ce, and he asked me to ask the girls in front. After that, everything changed. From pokemon to maths questions, the girls kept turning back to talk to us. lol. They are very different from girls i have met before, being interactive and friendly to us on the 1st day. Also, when i tried to spot any imbeciles or AP people in the class, i couldnt find any. It all goes down to this : 3D is a good class, and i like to be in 3D.
For some reason, our form teacher, Mr. See, has a deep impression of me in this head. Maybe coz hes a choir ic or somthing like that before. When we're talking to the girls, mr see. will say "Guang Jie, stop talking". o.O. I quickly kept quiet, and so do the other three. Then, soonafter, we started talking again. Out of the blue, Mr See's voice again. "Guang Jie, 2nd time already, stop talking." LOL? There's like 4 of us (maybe even more) in the class talking, and he only scolded me. Maybe he LIKES me. O.o. Dont take this in the wrong way. I soonafter found out that he is an interactive and good teacher.
There are quite a few events or major stuff that happened this year, and i shall spilt them into parts.
23rd of January
Cool! My birthday! I wasnt expecting any presents since my mother dont recommend me to invite people to my house to celebrate my birthday, but out of surprise, i got one from my classmates, namely SC,CE,ZJ and hilda. CE told me its a surprise, and I decided I will open it at home.
When i reached home, after bathing and eating, I remembered the present wrapped in red colour paper and decided to open it. Out of shock, i see two 5K GC cash cards. My feelings that time could not be expressed by pen and paper, as i was overly excited and surprised. Not only people bought me presents on my birthday when we had only known each other for 3 weeks, they even bought me prepaid cards, which are forbidden in my house o.O. Even till now, the two cash cards, even when they are used up, they're still sitting in my house cupboard, wrapped up in that colour paper in topmost condition. Here, I would like to express my thanks to SC,CE,ZJ and hilda. Thanks!
Choir - Year 1 Concert and SYF'09
It all started when i was about to go out with my parents to eat at ThaiExpress. (We went to the newly opened West Coast Plaza on the last Friday of the December holidays). 08). Out of the blue, the phone rang. To my surprise, it was my Bass SL, wp, and he apologized to me for not letting me know there is practice today (!!!). I am shocked. Lol. And i told him ill be going for the practice in the afternoon. After the call, we quickly ate, and i rushed to school for practice.
The first repitoire for this year is "Kiss the Girl", which is sung by us choir boys to attract boys from the new batch of secondary 1s to join us. (I bet none of the boys will be interested).Nevertheless, we went through a series of choir practices, and we performed. At the end, we got scolded by the P and VPs due to our low standard. Haiz. What can I say?
SYF. The 3 letters that determines the existence of a performing art CCA. Preparing for it is no easy task, as we have to go back 3 days a week starting from end of February. It was very tiring, but somehow i managed to perservere. Finally, on April 17th, we were on stage, looking at the audience and i noticed the judges sitting above the audiences. I held my breath, and sang like i did in the rehearsals. Halfway through white horses and salve, i noticed that we are not following ms tham's beat. We continued to sing anyway, as pausing will net us of our GWH. In the end, we got gold (i expected it so i have no reaction) and some people cried. Well, we did our best, so who cares about the results?
Knowing new people in the class
O.o. When i look at the 3D class list on IVLE last year in december, i found a few familiar names, like yj, tim, siwei, oj, jane, lk, hl, rae, ce. Some were in maths talent, some were in 2H, some were my primary school classmates. Soonafter, i knew and talked to all the boys in the class, the PRCs, and some of the other girls.
Shutting down of GC
WHAT?! As i saw the notice on the GCsea website, i see a notice, about 'thank you for supporting GC". I then scrolled down, and found a notice that GC is to be closed on 17/4. WHAT?! That means my 1 year worth of playing GC is all gone. I bet CE is still feeling crazy due to the fact that GC is closing down. Well, i told myself, there are still other servers like NAGC or PHGC. However, until NOW, none of the servers are opened to singapore. Even malaysia can play NAGC while there's a region ban on singapore. The GMs from the other servers made no attempt to lift the region block, so I gradually forget about GC, as there are other games, like MapleStory, Dragonica or WonderKing online etc.
The MYEs
Aw. Im so stressed. As my term 1 GPA sucks, my mother wanted me to get 3.2 or else no com. OUCH. No choice lol. I will mug. I started to mug one week before the exams, focusing on subjects like physics, bio and scs.
When our papers come out, it was better than i expected. I had gotten a GPA of exactly 3.2 (LOL) so my mother wont ban me from the computer. My physics and bio are also better than i thought. The worse thing is, if u add 1 mark to all my subjects, my GPA will be 3.4. zzz.
June Holidays Malaysia experience
Seriously, why do 2H have to hold the class chalet in the middle of the holidays? I always CMI. zzz.
Well, anyway, as time is tight, we only go back for 9 days. We ate our 1st meal at my aunt's new house (she has only moved in for 1 month if u count from that day till today). The house was quite big, and we enjoyed our stay there. Soonafter...

Almost two weeks have passed since my last day of being a chairperson.
Yup. Tat means that almost two weeks of the holidays have passed. Time flies huh?
about 6 more weeks and Ill be in a new class with new classmates, teachers, environment and even in a new life.
Do I miss 2H? well... Im not really sure... to be frank.
Im still disappointed that i couldnt go for the class chalet. After all, i havent fufill my promise to zhiming yet... you know what I mean. Apart from that, its going to be having tons of fun being with those guys. Managing them is better then sitting home and play com.
Triple science + SS. That is my combination. They say that triple science is suicidal, but I wanted to take it for my future's sake. Many of my friends could not take Biology and Physics and was disappointed. I should be quite lucky. I even gave up history for that.
Actually, to be frank, i like the previous 6E then 2H. 6E, my primary sch class, is a whole bunch of oddballs. I can almost remember being punched by Wilton, kicked by Jingkai, threatened by them to playing maplestory, playing "freeze and melt" with the geniuses of the class, playing battleon (lol?) and listening to Keli and WC talking about Runescape.
Also, the funniest part is to call WC an "Atomic bomb" with CE and ran away from him.
Hes going to blow up if we stay closer to him. Also, the funny days with FY and LZ are over...
The 1st time i came to 1H, the first guy i ever talked to was JunYe. He was asking me if the row i sat at was the 1H row. He seemed to be a cool guy then, he always have that look on his face that makes him look very matured. Also, i remembered the AFC. It was long forgotten, but i remember them being loyal to Alvin.
The girls in 1H/2H was a... very mixed bunch. There are noisy ones, xtrovert ones, guai ones, fierce ones (!), unlike in 6E, where all the girls will all gather as they have the same personalities. Everyone likes to be with each other in 6E, unlike in 2H. In 2H, i always see girls clustered in 3s-6s during free periods. In 6E, all the girls will gather together. See the difference?
Well, my opinion may be becoz im a chairperson. Im just an average chairperson, and i wanted to be neutral in this class. However, if i hadn't agreed to that guy who ask me whether to be a chairperson or not, i will not be what i am today.
I have lots of friends in 2H. Even the ones who disliked me likes to talk to me now.
If i hadnt be a chairperson, i will not have made this many friends as they all always ask me things due to my position. Soonafter, we have developed somewhat of a bond. I could say that im a friend to every single boy in 2H, especially with those who cared about me, encouraged me. I miss those guys.
Well... many people may ask, why did i print out FF scores and plays them?
For the very reason- To remind me of 2H. Different tunes represents different members of 2H. For eg, the FFIX normal encounter music reminds me of TZ, who is outspoken in a good way, and always effectively does his jobs and participates in discussions. He is a good guy.
(P.S)I didnt add a tagboard as this blog is for me to talk only o.O(I may reconsider)

The worst day ever.
As the title suggests, this is really the worst day ever.
Just in this day itself, i did 4 main wrongs, which is the total number of wrongs accumulated when I was Pri 1 - Pri 6.
Firstly, I've been too lenient and let my classmates drag the due date for the W.M stuff. This consequence to getting scold by Mrs. Ling and almost went to see her at the end of the day. Well... I cant deny the fact that i was too nice and didnt bother them much, just SMS, telling them personally, writing on the board, announcing to the whole class; but the main problem lies in them: its their choice whether or not to hand in, and if they choose not too, I am dead. Its that simple.
Secondly, my Science homework. I have not completed a question in the practical book, and it ended up in Mrs Goh scolding me. Something about "being the chairperson, you must set a good example...", the usual stuff the teacher will say to a CP. The funny thing is, maybe i was the one who leads in greeting the teacher, she tends to focus more on my behaviour than Sylvia's. O.o. It was just a sentence for her when she see that she didnt finish her work; but for me, it was about 5 sentences. I was supposed to ask Timothy this question, and he said he dont know, and yeah, I forgot about it and... you know the rest.
Thirdly, and the worst in my life, was being careless and not boiling some lemon tea when I am supposed to. The first two scoldings were already quite a weight on me, and I was not concentrating much on the work. Thus, I just took the water away from the stove when I think it is ok, but it turnt out to be not boiled, and it was discovered by Mrs. Chew. Yeah, and I got a warning from her. and a very threatening one. This was the worst scolding in my life.
Lastly, this happened during assembly time. Mrs Tan told the Sec 1 and 2s to line in vertical rows, which i thought it is odd, as we were supposed to line in horizontal rows. We lined up, but when Mrs. Look came, she told us to line up in horizontal rows. This is so troublesome, I thought, and I cant help blabbering out the few words: "I told you its HORIZONTAL!" I happened to be standing within range of Sylvia's hearing, and she heard it and thought I was talking the her. She then shouted "WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM?!" to me. A part of me wanted to tell her it was a misunderstanding, but the other part said that I should just say sorry and keep quiet. The odd thing is, I listened to the other part and remained silent, despite her angry face when she looked at me.
Overall, this day is the worst day in my life, and I cant deny the fact the I'm mostly in the wrong. Maybe I should concentrate more and adhere the stuff that was taught to us through the talk during assembly today.

The funny thing is, maybe i was the one who leads in greeting the teacher, she tends to focus more on my behaviour than Sylvia's. O.o. It was just a sentence for her when she see that she didnt finish her work; but for me, it was about 5 sentences. I was supposed to ask Timothy this question, and he said he dont know, and yeah, I forgot about it and... you know the rest.
Thirdly, and the worst in my life, was being careless and not boiling some lemon tea when I am supposed to. The first two scoldings were already quite a weight on me, and I was not concentrating much on the work. Thus, I just took the water away from the stove when I think it is ok, but it turnt out to be not boiled, and it was discovered by Mrs. Chew. Yeah, and I got a warning from her. and a very threatening one. This was the worst scolding in my life.
Lastly, this happened during assembly time. Mrs Tan told the Sec 1 and 2s to line in vertical rows, which i thought it is odd, as we were supposed to line in horizontal rows. We lined up, but when Mrs. Look came, she told us to line up in horizontal rows. This is so troublesome, I thought, and I cant help blabbering out the few words: "I told you its HORIZONTAL!" I happened to be standing within range of Sylvia's hearing, and she heard it and thought I was talking the her. She then shouted "WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM?!" to me. A part of me wanted to tell her it was a misunderstanding, but the other part said that I should just say sorry and keep quiet. The odd thing is, I listened to the other part and remained silent, despite her angry face when she looked at me.
Overall, this day is the worst day in my life, and I cant deny the fact the I'm mostly in the wrong. Maybe I should concentrate more and adhere the stuff that was taught to us through the talk during assembly today.

oh no
Oh no... 3 days left to school reopening.
I didnt even finish most of my language hw yet. gotta chiong -_-
Most probably due to the computer addiction that started in the 1st 4 weeks.
Feeling that games are kinda boring now, so decided to do hw, and got a shock when i found out how much i have not accomplished.
Find some xtremely nice songs in Lufia btw, willing to share with everyone:

Yoz
Hmm... 3 mths since my last post, i think i gotta polish this rusty blog!
Recently, I found a private ms sever, named DagonMS. Its better than maple in many aspects, like having a 100x drop rate, 100x exp, and a crazy hat that adds all ur stats by 999 (acc and avoid included), with a jump of 50 and speed of 30. Crazy rite?
Within 3 days, i had 3 characters, namely a dk, a priest and chief dit. (4th job not out yet in that server). Got addicted to it in the 3 days, and got sianz as im waiting for 4th job to be out. Haiz...
After finishing my sci and maths, i decided to find a gba game to cure my boredom.
Yea, i did find some, namely Lufia: The Ruins Of Lore and Megaman Battle Network.
Lufia is a rather fun game, yet can be brain tickling. It talks about a kingdom which has awakened the beast, an extremely powerful ancient creature, to conquer the world, and heroes must stop it (DUH?) Somehow, it has the same "plot" as the final fantasy series: The thing that u're chasing for in the entire game is not the FINAL BOSS! You go through dungeons and fight bosses in the end, with a long plot and 5 playable characters. (U choose 3 to fight a a battle, + a captured monster, or 4 characters.). Sounds kinda like final fantasy, but it has its own pros and cons:
Pros:
-EXTREMELY good music (Lufia: Rise of The Sinistrals released on the computer got a 97/100 for sound rating). The music also got high scores in the other series, and this game's also not bad.
-Rather then just going up stairs, fight monsters and going down a hole, u will land in certain rooms that require u to solve a puzzle such as pushing stuff to tiles to open the door or solve a combination. There's even one which involves 1 hr to solve it.
-New battle system (turn based, not time based):

Skills Defend
Items
-Good storyline, but this one seems to stand out of the other series.
-Job system. U can change jobs and learn their abilities. U can even master all the job's skills in the entire game!

Cons:
-Puzzles may be VERY hard
-Need careful planning, unlike FF where u can just fly through the entire dungeon
-Final boss is.... of course... TOUGH!
-Dungeons are long.
-Hidden stuff are WAY too well hidden. (I spent 30 mins trying to find a stupid switch, hidden in a hidden crack in a hidden hole in a hidden room).
General rating: 8.5/10
Megaman Battle Network is like the series shown in the TV (Rockman exe.) Its just another RPG which involes a guy and his navi saving the world o.O. Specific chips could be used to assist ur navi in battles against viruses, such as letting them have a hp recovery or a powerful weapon. I've never tried the game yet, but i will post the details soon.
Just had my audition for speech day today, and it was a total failure.
Went SHARP throughout the whole song.
I wonder what happenes when the results come out.

Holidays busted
Yo everyone~
I knoe some of you have been longing for a new post, so here's the new post!
5/8 of the March holidays taken away... zzz.
Monday : GeoG Project proposal discussion
Tuesday : 10 am - 9pm choral performance (heardz)
Wednesday : 9 am - 9.30pm choral performance (need to go back earlier due to sectionals)
Thursday : Art Project (Maybe)?
Fri, Sat and Sun : ITALY!
Ya. As you can see above, my holiday schedule is very tight and busy. I cant even find time to do my holiday hw, not to mention looking at the computer. Nevermind...
if cannot finish then go Italy do bah hehe.
Even though today's performance was tons better than the Tuesday one, I still screwed up some of the pieces.
-For the georgian chant, i ran out of breath halfway.
-For O Rex Gloriae, I cant reach high notes due to lack of breath. Also, need to blast to reach higher notes.
-For Ave Regina, its ok, but i got a little "zhao xia" at the Gau-De part.
-For Ave Maria Nr. 3, My low notes are a lil' unstable.
-For the gossip + chicken song, i got lost in middle but managed to come back.
-For As Torrents in Summer, I forgot to include air flow -_-
-For Zhu Li Guan, I for 1st half sing lightly, second half sing more heavy liao.
-For Karimatanu Kuicha, I got a lil' messy at the canon.
Even though the rehearsals are tiring, i felt that its worth it. After all, going to Italy to perform is not a chance u get every year, dont you think so?
Even if i could nt finish my holiday hw, i could just do it at Italy. So why worry?
Also, got a lil' bit sore throat, and i hope it recovers before Friday.
